THE HOLY GRAIL GUITAR SHOW - Saturday & Sunday May 5 - 6, 2018

The Holy Grail Guitar Show is an INVITATIONAL EVENT, a presentation of the best of what the world of professional contemporary guitar making has to offer, featuring a wide variety of guitar builders from around the world.

Important: Submitting this application or having already exhibited does not guarantee an exhibitor spot -- on the other hand it also does not mean that you won't be invited again!

In recent years there have been some misunderstandings about the invitation process, such as

‘if I don’t apply this year I will increase my chances of getting a spot next year’

-- or --

‘I’ve exhibited twice so I won’t be invited again’.

Both statements are wrong.

The Invitation Committee (made up of several board members of the EGB) will evaluate all applications carefully, aiming to offer the public a varied and interesting cross-section of today’s high-quality handmade guitar scene. By applying a rotational principle, every effort is made to ensure an fresh, attractive and appealing exhibit, while giving all qualifying guitar builders a fair shot at a chance to exhibit.

We ask that you read all information carefully and refer to our Q & A on the website or email us your questions.

The exhibitor fee is EUR 800 plus 19% VAT if applicable and includes among other things:

  • 1 exhibitor table
  • 2 exhibitor passes (exhibitor & helper) for the Show
  • Listing on the Show website as well as the catalogue
  • Inclusion in all marketing activities
  • Invitation to the EGB Luthiers Dinner (Friday) for the exhibitor (1 ticket)
  • Access to all exhibitor services like hotel allotment, additional services etc.

Invitees will receive more details with their invitation, but important basic principles are that:

  • Each exhibitor receives one table (no booths or large areas).
  • Each exhibitor has to be personally present on both days during public hours (no agents, representatives, dealers).
  • If you are a designer who works with a luthier (or several), and do not build the guitars yourself, you cannot exhibit yourself since you are not a luthier. You are welcome to collaborate with your builder on this: He/she can apply to exhibit and display your designs as part of his/her repertoire.
  • The sharing of tables between two companies is not possible.

THE EGB SYMPOSIUM – Thursday & Friday May 3 - 4, 2018 (closed event for EGB Members and Exhibitors)

Guitar shows are intense from the exhibitor point of view – usually there’s not much chance to catch up with colleagues without feeling you’re stealing those moments from your clients! The EGB Symposium on Thursday & Friday is the perfect forum for us, the luthiers, to connect, exchange ideas, learn from each other and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed environment. The Symposium will present a rich program of workshops, lectures, intriguing discussions and more!  More information about the program, schedule and fee for the Symposium will be published later, but please, mark it in your calendar! Please be aware that the EGB Symposium is not included in the exhibitor fee!

The application deadline has passed, but you can submit an application to be considered for the waitlist!
