Lakewood Guitars
Martin Seeliger

Lakewood Guitars is the perfect interface between handicraft and use of modern machinery. The luthiers around Martin Seeliger are genuine guitar makers that work in a workshop rather than in a production. Despite the fact that Lakewood produces 1000 guitars a year they do a lot of individual customizing in the so-called Custom Shop. Sometimes it’s small things that customers ask for, little adaptions that don’t necessarily need to be expensive. But it can be much more thrilling if that’s the customer’s wish. This time Moritz Sattler, Lakewood mastermind of CNC and inlay work, has thought of something special…

Lakewood Guitars is the perfect interface between handicraft and use of modern machinery. In their Custom Shop they do a lot on individual (art)work. Sometimes it can be small things a customer asks for, and it doesn’t always have to be expensive. Distinct guitars with fantastic timbers and marvelous woodwork.
